Gunpowder, Treason and Soot: Bonfire Night, PM2.5 and Health

A violin plot showing mean PM2.5 from UK AURN stations on 5 November, the next weekend (or current if it includes 5 November) and annually.

As the name implies, Bonfire Night is one of the worst days for air quality here in the UK, especially for PM2.5. But how much worse is it than normal?

See what it looks like at your nearest monitor.
