Using data to achieve your goals

I’ve worked in the private sector, charities, philanthropy and in academia, so I know how to use data to meet different needs. I can bring academic rigour to your design, implementation and analysis work without slowing you down.

Case studies

Meeting your goals with data

Meath County Council needed to show local people why their green policies mattered. I led a team to design and implement air quality monitoring in Trim, and turn that raw data into high-impact information on the local impacts on health. Our work won DataIQ’s Data Enabling Solution of the Year 2024

Making impact in the media

London’s ULEZ has succeeded in bringing emissions down, but it has been controversial (to say the least). During the debate on ULEZ expansion in 2023, I conducted analysis showing that 1,300 cases of asthma could be prevented per year, speaking to LBC and other London news outlets about the benefits of the policy.

Bringing science and business together

Too often, rigorous science seems to be at odds with fast-paced business needs. But this doesn’t have to be the case. At Clean Air Fund, I worked with the Breathe Cities team to ensure global goals were aligned with the latest research and meet fast-changing funder needs.
